Purpose

The course will introduce students to various aspects of video game culture and business, e.g. genres, jobs, localisation, reviewing, and history. Students will have an opportunity to discuss games in English, learn about the differences between Japanese and English versions of games.このコースではジャンル、仕事、ローカライズ、レビューの仕方や歴史など、ビデオゲームの文化やそれに携わるビジネスなどゲームの様々な側面について紹介するこのコースを受講する生徒は英語でゲームについてディスカッションしたり、ゲームの日本語バージョンと英語バージョンの違いについて等学ぶ

Message

Students are required to have a keen interest in learning gaming history and terminology in English. Students must bring a personal computer and a smartphone to each lesson. Additionally, it is important to try to communicate in English and discuss the topics in class.このコースを受講する生徒は、英語でゲームの歴史や専門用語などを学ぶことに興味があることが求められる。パソコンとスマートフォンを毎回各自持参すること。授業で積極的に英語でコミュニケーションをとったり、トピックについてディスカッションしたりする事も必要とされる。
